Anyone else having issues with their Run 2 HRM? It’s the most bi-polar sensor I’ve experienced. One day it’s within ~1 beat with my Polar H10 during a tempo run and a day after it never went above 130 bpm. It was a fairly steady run but I’m not that fit that I can run a 5’11 pace with an average HR of 84 😂

It was tightened same as previous run. Never experienced anything similar on my Run 1, the HR was always spot on and never any cadence lock issues. Anyone else experienced similar issues with their Run 2?

Edit: adding a screenshot of the correct hr readings recorded on other device.

@GratefulDeadpan definitively no, never until now (at least on the few occasions I’ve used it)

@GratefulDeadpan I’ve used a Run 2 extensively for testing prior to release and had excellent data from OHR. I never saw the unit behave this way. Did you try a soft reset. After that a hard reset and if neither of those works I would contact support.

@Brad_Olwin yeah same, I’ve had nothing but stellar performance from both the Run 1 & 2 prior to this. Haven’t tried that, no.

Another run today and the hr measurements were flawless. I’m so baffled by this haha. Did not do a hard reset or anything between this run and the last.

Looks like cadence lock to me. But when I have it, then I get around double the value on my RaceS or Vertical (160 - 170). But maybe the new OHR reacts different. Can you compare with your cadence?
Solution could be the textile band (Athletic7), for me it worked

@VoiGAS I am already using a nylon velcro band. Doesn’t this look very strange for a cadence lock issue?

@GratefulDeadpan You are right, I thought it could be half of the cadence due to the new sensor. But then it should be around 70 or so. Hm…
