      Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding how Do Not Disturb (DND) is designed to work during workouts.
Quite often, I turn on DND during an activity so I can focus without incoming notifications or alerts buzzing on my wrist. However, once I finish and save the activity, the watch remains in Do Not Disturb mode until I manually switch it back off.
Am I misunderstanding how this setting works, or is DND simply a universal toggle rather than an activity-scoped setting?
If this is intended behavior, it would be a huge quality-of-life improvement if DND could either:
Automatically revert to its previous state once an exercise ends, or
Have an option within sport mode settings (e.g., “Do Not Disturb during exercise”), so notifications resume automatically after the workout is saved.
Has anyone else noticed this, or found a better way to handle notifications strictly during workouts?

      Thanks!

@sszabo.apor it is possible to manage notifications differently during sport mode and smartwatch mode (and these settings can be different per each sport mode). Just scroll down in the activity options and you will find the settings. I would not use DND to achieve what you want
