Movescount history import is open for all users Spartan/S9/S5

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos i don’t mind to wait more one or two days.
-
Connected Thursday, currently the oldest activity is from 27 Jan 2018 … and I have not synced or transferred to SA beforehand.
-
@Shrek3k So not all arived ?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos no, not at all, but it feels like work in progress (although it “got stuck” since today morning), and as I have not received the “finished email” from the beloved Finnish company and as I have quite some patience left (especially as it would be nice to see all my activities on the world map, but SA has no real “use” for the data (eg analysing it)l I am really fine with the progress. I just wanted to note, that there obviously is some kind of internal staged sync going on … and not some kind of “all at once” sync …)
-
The app notifies me I am ready to start the transfer of my Movescount history to Suunto App but I’d rather wait for as long as possible.
Would I be able to initiate the process later when I decide it is time? In other words I don’t want the app to tell me to start the transfer. I want the opposite - to tell the app to do that when the moment is right.
-
Hi, I have also received the notification but I fully agree with you, I do not want to transfer the data now, and I want continue the use of Movescount, taking into account that for long trails (more than 16h) SA failed twice and the only way to synchronise data was using Movescount (in MacBook) and cable… @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos is there a confirmed data for Movescount to stop working ? thanks

@silentvoyager
Afaik, You décide when connect SA to MC.
As long as you don’t enter your MC credentials in SA, nothing will happen.Also this wording “connect” is confusing.
It will be a one shot sync, and not a sync like all 3rd party partner. -
Hey guys. Thanks a lot for the conversation here. Just back from hiking.
@silentvoyager and @Aldo70 fellas take your time to enable this. There is no rush at all at the moment. The in app message just notifies the user that he has the option from now on.
@Shrek3k I can give you better feedback on monday. Sorry but not access to any resource at the moment.

Any news on older Spartans such as Ultra getting imported or did I miss it?
-
Connected MC with SA 6 days ago. Just received an email stating “transfer of data cimpleted”. Everything looks fine
-
@morskilav no news. Nothing happen.
-
@Luís-Pinto nothing for you ?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos no yet.
-
@Luís-Pinto lets talk tomorrow morning that I can contact Suunto
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Don’t worry, i don’t have rush.
-
Already done. But activities on past don’t have new laps tablet appearance.
-
I have linked last week but nothing yet. There are a few thousand activities to sync but I guess it should be done by now. No hurry, just reporting…
-
@nassosc for information I had 700 moves to migrate and it took less than 24h (requested yesterday at noon), all migrated sucessfully now
-
Imported everything. Seems ok. Will miss MC web but having a faster sync and integration with 3rd party sites is a plus for now.
I will ask this. I had a route previously synced to MC, but I had re-uploaded another one via SA. Any way to delete the old route?

For your route, you Could uninstall/reinstall SA and sync. Normally the old route will be then deletable in SA (toggle off it before, sync, and then delete).
