Route Syncing Issues (new beta app update)
-
Is anyone else having trouble syncing new routes to their watch since the new app update (beta)?
I have tried syncing with phone, connecting watch to laptop. I tried a soft reset (held top right button for 12sec).
Every time I sync = same 5 routes are on the watch. I tried creating new ones on watch and selecting Add to Watch. I tried removing old routes to see if that would remove them off the watch - no change.
Any tips? or help? -

You can’t add a new route to your watch or you can’t remove a route from your watch or both ? -
@Mff73 Both! The whole thing started because I was trying to add new route to see how the waypoints feature works.

connecting watch to laptop.
Any tips? or help?It doesn’t make any sense at all to mix android app/ios app and connecting watch to pc and sync… or I am missing something

@zvonejan True… I guess I was thinking with my old Movescount brain. I thought it was worth a shot. But connecting the watch to the computer only transfers watch updates, GPS optimization and charges - is that right?

Once you have used SA to, either customize your sportsmodes, or upload a route, you can’t anymore use MC for anything else than what you say : GPS optimization, charge and updates. So, to manage route you now need full SA usage.
Are you able to create a new route in SA, and transfer it to your watch then ? -
@Mff73 Sorry I was saying old Movescount brain cos I used to have an A3 Vertical.
My S9B I have only been using with SA. All routes on there were created and synced via SA.
Everything I’m talking about is through SA - I havent done anything on MC -

OK
we are now clear
(sorry, it early morning here, and coffee does not wake up me yet
)
First advice : clear the app cache in android settings (application menu, then find SA, then in storage --> clear cache).
Second advice : uninstall completely the app, you won’t loose any data.
Third advice : later after first 2 (i don’t have one for now
