@MiniForklift This may be about right, the 24/7 HR and sleep tracking together cause a fair bit of drain. Are you on Android or iOS? I typically do not sleep with my S9 as it is kinda big. Do you enable auto DnD when sleeping?

I read on FB Run Iq, someone with same issue, and he has solved it with a serious baro sensor cleaning.
Not explained clearly there, but maybe the sensor is over busied when too dirty.
Worth a try to confirm, isn’t it?
Will give the link if I find it, but FB is not a forum, and hard to find stuff again.

@Mff73 To support your link, i would only copy the Dimitrios’s message In our forum mentioned n the FB.

There is a problem with your barometer.
Either it had water either it’s dirty either it’s faulty.
Soak the watch into lukewarm water.
Flush under the tap with water the pressure holes
            Repeat x3
Also might help using a baby tooth brush and gently cleaning those holes on the watch.

@Brad_Olwin I’m on iOS. I sleep with it on but I do flick it onto DND before I go to sleep

Do you read the FB post link? And tried to “clean” baro sensor the best you can?

12h overnight I lost 9% of charge with the watch on my wrist, HR on, sleep tracking and AutoDnD for 7h.

@Brad_Olwin thanks for the tip regarding AutoDND. I did not realize that was a feature. I have subsequently enabled it and I will be curious is this changes battery life moving forward.

@Mff73 Don’t think I need to clean the sensor as it’s a brand new watch, I’ve only had it a week or two

@MiniForklift I don’t think you’ve got any problems with your watch. You could get to 6/7 days having all tracking enabled if you don’t do activities, but with activities you achieve less.

@MiniForklift After 36h, one run (1.75h) and Pilates (~1h) sleep two nights, HR24/7 I am down about 25%. I keep my backlight very low 30% and don’t use it often. The backlight is probably one of the biggest battery life hogs.

@isazi Hi, calibration doesn’t help, I made soft and hard reset and using the watch with factory settings I have ~ 3% of battery consumption per hour

@Jenya-Obolonskiy it’s on the website, or even through the Suunto App, in the “other” section of the “settings” tab.

I had the same issue. Soft and hard resets didn’t work. I took it overseas for two months in the hopes that a software update was the issue, and that it would work itself out. When I got home, I sent it in and received a brand new watch. No issues. I know I am a little late to the party here, but I would send it in for “repairs” if you have yet. Hopefully it is resolved by now…
