Software update 2.12.30 Staged Release for S3/S5/S9
-
@Mi_chael Do not reset.
-
@Mi_chael These are mockup screens that I personally found quickly. There are a lot of options to customize a baro to look like an non-baro via the customizer and vise versa.
Pressure trend needs more than 3h to understand what is going on

Updated at 10h30 with my time zone.
Ok. I will wait.
Thanks

Great update
I have a question: What do you know regarding the battery life after this update?Thanks and Cheers
-
@Chindris-Bogdan no damage
-
Re Bearing Location: if one has added distance (& maybe elevation) to the bearing, can one save the resultant destination location to the watch (like a projected POI) and recall it later?
Or does is function more akin to the old Bearing Lock: i.e., when you End Navigation, all is forgotten?
-
@Fenr1r forgotten. But this is a good addition id say
-
Here are some real life examples all, just awake in the US here and missed a lot of the fun. When you are high enough in altitude the watch face and SuuntoPlus weather will show O2 percentage.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos It’s a very good addition to the S9 (the function, not the forgetting*).
Brings back good ol’ Bearing Lock and adds a temporary projected POI. Kudos.
*(Save-able and add-able in sequence might enable crow-flight route-creation w/o the App, as per G. But such requests are for another day. And probably a newer watch.)

Is it possible to automatically turn on suunto+ with a sport mode ?
-
For those of you that want “structured intervals” the new AutoSprint SuuntoPlus will automatically add laps. This is an uphill interval workout, I did 3 0.3 mi uphill intervals with 1 min rest in between each, then a run back down to the bottom, 1 min rest and repeat 3 uphill 0.3 mi intervals with 1 min rest for a total of 3 sets. All I did was start SuuntoPlus Autosprint Cycling Power. I used the Stryd for this as Pace won’t work well on uphill intervals. I hit the lap button to start the intervals but never touched the lap button again or used the built in intervals.

I have been testing these features for some time now and @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos is a busy guy so if you have questions feel free to ask. Some of the features are more complex than they appear initially.

What are light green dark green portions of baro gauge?
-
@ink357 At this time no, the SuutoPlus has to be turned on at the start of an exercise.

The light green are the range of values that have been measured during the time frame, the dark green shows values that were not recorded. My indicator shows values not measured during the last measurement time frame. I am not sure but the time frame for the indicators is somewhere around 3h I think.

@Brad_Olwin Since you offered …
On the new outdoor face, what does the sunset (and/or possibly -rise) icon on the left of the hours dial represent? Does it change in an informative manner or do something when tapped?

The icons show the sunset/sunrise time, that is all. Prior to sunset the hours to sunset time will show, after sunset the hours to sunrise time will show. Below is one color scheme, I cannot upload a video so this is tapping the screen through each watch face in succession. We have a winter storm coming to Colorado with snow tonight so the pressure has been dropping.

@Brad_Olwin Thanks for the pix
The icons show the sunset/sunrise time
I was originally referring to the icon at the left-hand base of the outer hour dial - in your pic around 3am, if the scale still applies in that part of the dial. In the official pix above, at around 1345, west of “hPa”. What does that indicate?
-
@Fenr1r the trend arrow

It is a sunset icon, the colors get successively darker with sunset, civil twilight, nautical twilight and then dark. The icon is a sunset icon and will change at night to show sunrise.
