Dear Suunto, dear all. It is dissapointing that there is no chance to do a second migration of the data from the Movescount web to the Suunto app. On the second hand the data migration is clearly incomplete cos the activity description is lost once migrated. Another point is why the Movescount web cannot be used as a data storage of the activities as it is now. The only way to check the activities would be through the Suunto app that is not user friendly. Please take into account my requests. I have been a Suunto devices user for the last 15 years and I have to say that I am now deeply dissapointed. Kind regards.

@José-Martínez please contact Suunto support (for example, via Suunto App) in case you have issues with data migration, this is only a community forum, not official support channel.

Hello. I have just spoken to Suunto support and they told me to write here, Forum Suunto, to tell you my problems. For example to tell you to implement the chance to do a second data migration from Movescount to Suunto app. This is why I am sending this post. Many thx.

@José-Martínez thanks for joining the forum José. Now, as you can see, here we are all users like you, although you can also meet some Suunto developers and employees here, the vast majority of us is just users discussing our watches and give each other “support”.

Now, if you need to do a second migration from MC to SA, that is something that only actual Suunto support can do, and if you tell them they can actually do it for you 🙂

@isazi Hello again and many thx for your response. Honestly I am bit puzzled cos Suunto support just told me that a second data migration is impossible now, unless I convince you (developers) to implement this option. This is why I was invited to share with you my problems and requests. Now, after having read your answer, it looks like the second data migration is possible but I have to ask for it to your colleagues of Suunto support. I will do it tomorrow and I hope to get a positive feed back. Tomorrow I will get back to you to let you know whether the problem has been fixed…

@José-Martínez like you, I don’t work for Suunto, I only bought two watches 🙂

But just in case you have some issues with support, we can ask our Community Manager and Suunto developer @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos to help!

Hello again: my request is as simple as to allow a second data migration to be done from MC to SA. Can Dimitrios help me/us (the whole Suunto community) to have this option?? That would be much appreciated!

@José-Martínez can you send me a message here with your email ?

I can help but typically this is not what I do and I am not sure why support said this, but I ll make an exception

Much appreciated Dimitris! The point is how to do a second migration from MC to SA before the first one is disabled. Please advise.
