Cannot download the .fit file from the app - is there another way?

Suunto app won’t upload properly to Strava, sometimes it does and other times not. When I try and download the .fit file nothing happens. Should I just change to Garmin? My friend never has any issues with his.

Well, you can do whatever you want …
but maybe with some more details( watch, app version) someone could try to help you

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Same here, i have android, when this happens i cannot download fit file from suunto app, and it isn’t uploaded to strava or sports-tracker.
I have spartan ultra and sunnto app (4.28.1)

@ccerrillo it means that workout hasn’t been uploaded to the cloud - Suunto App reinstall may help

To be able to download the fit file you need that the activity is in Suunto servers, if not you won’t be able . So if the activity is in SA but you can’t get the fit file means that it haven’t been uploaded to the servers yet, this could be due bad internet connection, or something like that, and it is what provokes that the activity doesn’t goes to Strava as well. Having said that I have not faced these kind of issues for long time.

This has fixed the problem, the activities have been resync and uploaded to strava, thanks!!

I have the same problem (with Spartan Sport + app 4.31.0), I can see my Run but not synch with strava and impossible to get the fit file.
The solution is to remove the data + cache of the application and restart the app.
It’s not serious for Suunto. One year ago, this issue existed…
