@Janfi apparently the transition will be longer, and they are not shutting down everything yesterday as planned.

Both the App and MovesCount habe been worth due to the transition:

I cannot see the Moves on MC anymore, but just plan a route, et set the watch parameter.
The App makes it impossible to set the watch parameters, to download a GPS track, to modify the GPS points, …
The App shows very strange HR-Profiles, like a crazy saw, what was not the case on MovesCount.
The App calculates the run distance new, after the upload of the track: 10,0 km on the watch, 9,71 on the App. It makes me crazy.

It would really stay only on MovesCount, with all the functions and possibility it offered ! And with the easyness on PC, compared to a Smartphone display…

@Bruno-Jacq are you using iOS ? I think there is a bug when editing an activity that it changes the distance… can this be it ?

Why you don’t? You still can.
Install movescount app, moveslink, and suunto app.
Sync with movescount app or moveslink and then if you want your moves on suunto app sync with suunto app.
If you don’t want to have two apps, you can use rungapp.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I thought, that the App uses the tracks of the maps to adjust the distance. Could it be? If not, then I have a bug…

@André-Faria I couldn’t do anything with MovesCount anymore. No upload from the watch anymore. So I changed to the SUUNTO App. I upload the GPS tracks from the watch via the SUUNTO interface on PC SuuntoLink, and can only see the moves on the App. The Movescount account is just frozen since move nr. 400 on 20 of June 2020.
But the watch parameters are only available on Movescount… I have no access to the watch parameters on the SUUNTO App. Is it normal?

Strange, I made the switch to SA, but since I didn’t enjoyed it, I continue to use moves count normally, via moves link or even moves count app on iOS.
Everything works fine.
Even found out that you can sync with moves count app and Suunto app on same phone, seamlessly.
And recently you don’t even need to do that, rungap does it for you.
It is normal that you don’t have access of watch settings on Suunto app.

still, till now you are not obliged to use it.

that is for android. rungap is for iOS. both do the same I believe

Movescount works and works almost perfectly for mosts of us and fits are needs… Suunto App DOES NOT COME CLOSE to meeting the needs and functionality of movescount…
