    Hey All,
I own the S9 non baro version for jut over a year now and am very pleased with it.
Watch is running FW version 2.10.26, and so far I restrained myself from further updates.

After dealing with many issues on other devices (ie cellphoones, tablets etc.) after applying their FW update (battery drain, random restarts, app crashes and general slowness are some of the issues I’ve encountered), I wasn’t sure whether I should update the S9 or not.

Just saw the announcement on the new FW update and was wondering if there are any issues with this update. Or, has anyone experienced any issues such as slowness, battery drain etc. with earlier updates?

    Thanks in advance
    Idan

@amitidan To be honest, I find the Suunto firmware updates one of the most stable ones for complex electronic devices.
AFAIK there are no real issues with the newest (or previous) firmware updates.

@amitidan The new firmware is extensively tested before release. Not all bugs may have been found but the new firmware is stable, provides new features and finding a bug won’t be easy. Suunto has a team of fieldtesters that is quite thorough. Many iterations of a firmware are tested prior to release.

@amitidan if you get FW files to your computer, you can upgrade and downgrade quite easily, so in my opinion you should test, and see if it good update for you.

@suzzlo I would also recommend to reboot watches after FW update once again and repair to your phone. After last update i faced with an issue of pairing and that easy step helps.
