I’am a Suunto Race user from germany and I can confirm that one of the last software updates also happened in the middle of the night and woke me up with a super bright display (like the flashlight app). After installing this update my watchface went back to its default settings, so that I had to reconfigure it again. I don’t know if there was a good reason for that or if it was a bug.

Fixed a problem with SuuntoPlus structured workout guides Which issue I wonder. Release Notes (same for 9pp and Race).
