      @theguyfromthesummit yes, every training session is taken into account. But I’m not sure, where do you get a warning on training too much in the low HR zones? Anyway, your performance in these training profiles will hardly impact TSS/day count, since you’ll probably get something like 10 TSS per training session, so I why exactly is this a problem?

        @дима-мельниченко
        Thanks!
        I am not sure how the formular etc looks like.

        In case Suunto calculates the overall weekly duration or distance and uses this for the calculation of the CTL/ ATL, the the TSS will be lower.
        But if Suunto uses TSS as a cumulative data and does not care about time/ distance it has no impact.

        Unfortunately I have no clue, how they calculate it.

          @theguyfromthesummit Have you started reading here: https://www.suunto.com/de-de/sports/News-Articles-container-page/training-stress-score-in-suunto-app/

          (link is in the respective section of the Suunto App)

          TSS is not an average of your training loads. It is accumulating training load. If there is a light exercise, it will just have a low impact vs a hard one which has a bigger impact

            @theguyfromthesummit I think TSS is calculated for each training independently and then added up.

              @egika thanks!

              Than this parameters make much more sense and a more useful!

              I remember when using my fenix 5 long time ago, that garmin only included a few activity types for the trainingsload.

                @theguyfromthesummit It is not quite correct. Not “all workouts get a TSS and will be included into the CTL and ATL calculation”.
                For example cycling with Ambit3p, but without HR measurement does not get counted calories and no TSS.

                But with newer Suunto 9peak I get minimal calories and TSS counted from SA, even without HR measurement. 20210706_111553.png

                  @wotus for TSS you need power, or pace, or heart rate.

                      @isazi Even without power, or pace, or heart rate SA is able to calculate a TSS based on statistical MET (metabolic equivalent) value, that considers the duration and activity type and gives a very rough approximation of the TSS.
                      But in my example below this happend only for S9p (last image, there I got a TSS MET of 48) and not for A3p, which I can not understand. It seems to be random.

                          @dimitrios-kanellopoulos 98% of all rides in cycling without HR have no calories, but some few have, like you can see here: 20210706_151817.png
                          In running and swimming there are always calories count without HR.

                          Some more example data with a3p without HR for cycling:
                          Summary for April with very low calories:

                              I walked 3 days ago very slowly with my father, without HR measurement and with my SSU.
                              2 hours for 4km 😂😭.
                              But this activity (saved with hiking profile) gives TSS Met = 101 🤪. Looks like a bit too much.

                                i found something quite “strange” or “interesting” about TSS.

                                I recorded an activity, slow Hiking, but 3h duration, and SA calculated TSS : 150 MET (no HR recordings).
                                I exported this activity fit file, and imported it to my wife’s SA account (with QS), because she forget her watch.
                                Same pace, no HR, same activity.

                                But in her SA, this imported activity was calculated with TSS : 53 MET
                                this value looks more related to 3h slow hiking, than my 150 🙂 (which influence a lot my fatigue/fitness).

                                is it something that can have good explanation ?
