Hello, I found a bug on the lap screen (during activity), if I change the first field on the left (where usually there is the lap distance) Suunto 9 peaks shows always the lap distance also if I change it. Is it normal ?

@emanuele-truccolo not normal, I’ll report it to Suunto after testing.

after the last update, S9P has problems with registering a valid GPS track:
          yesterday:
          2021-10-02.png
          and today:
          2021-10-02 (1).png
the green dotted line is the real trace of my run
I have never observed similar problems before on S9P
it looks like the watch freezes for a few minutes and doesn’t register a GPS signal

The same with me first workout as s9p update : https://www.suunto.com/move/omunoz/6156f608134a046087b852b3

Seems that needs more time to chose the gps signal in the first workout after upgrade .

@aroo7 thanks, I have been seeing some issues with Galileo (Suunto should be aware of that).

I’ve had a dropout which I put down to Galileo. But the rest of the time the accuracy has been stunning.

Same here, usually the accuracy with Galileo is perfect, but sometimes that are unexplained drops that the other systems do not have. Therefore I am back to using Beidou.

@isazi i also noticed my first GPS drop with S9P and Galileo after the update 53FEBEB9-8EC1-4633-B0E6-46512DB001AA.jpeg
Do you recommend Beidu also for Western Europe (France) ?

@chrisc92 there are issues with Galileo at the moment, I suggest to try Beidou and see how it works (I’m in the Netherlands).

@emanuele-truccolo do you have auto-laps enabled, right? When enabled the first field is always the auto-lap metric, this I am being told by Suunto.

Can you manually select which GPS service the watch uses?

@ramrod yes, in the navigation settings, outside of an activity.

@emanuele-truccolo for me it works if I disable auto lap. Which field are you using for the first column?
