@herlas oh cool !! The app many were waiting for instead of ghost runner !

But time target duration setting in minutes only ? Why not a h/m/sec setting ?! 😰

@Tieutieu or why not just set pace/speee instead of distance + time ? But yes, seems better than the ghost runner in which we can’t set pace

@Antoine because it can adjust the pace on its own depending on the strategy, and helps less expert users than don’t want to do the pace math themselves

@isazi so we need third option as Antoine said 😄 I would like to set 4:15min/km and run, that’s it, no percentages and other compilations. I think this can be most basic of all 3 apps, but for me most useful.

@Likarnik indeed, most of the time for every day trainings we don’t know exactly the distance we will do (except in competition). That’s why pace target could be usefull. I agree, it could be a third S+ app.

@Antoine @Likarnik about “Pace” => when I wan’t to train at a spectific pace I would more likely use structured workout and set pace as a target.

The S+ Race pacer has “Race” in its name and that’s what I would use it for : when racing a 10km, half-marathon, marathon.

I won’t use it for trail running or for training in general. Structured workout are much better for this.

for this you just set a pace target in your pre-start screen. No need to use the new progressive pacer S+

Either he’s referring to Target Pace Zone (“Zones d’intensité > Zones d’allure”) or else something else I don’t have on my S9PP.

@isazi i have tested it. It seems possible to go over the set distance keeping the same computed targeted pace. That’s right ?
