S+ Race pacer

 @Likarnik said in S+ Race pacer: as Antoine said I would also like to set e.g. 4:15min/km and run
-
 @Antoine @Likarnik about “Pace” => when I wan’t to train at a spectific pace I would more likely use structured workout and set pace as a target. The S+ Race pacer has “Race” in its name and that’s what I would use it for : when racing a 10km, half-marathon, marathon. I won’t use it for trail running or for training in general. Structured workout are much better for this.

 @Likarnik said in S+ Race pacer: @isazi so we need third option as Antoine said I would like to set 4:15min/km and run, that’s it, no percentages and other compilations. I think this can be most basic of all 3 apps, but for me most useful. I would like to set 4:15min/km and run, that’s it, no percentages and other compilations. I think this can be most basic of all 3 apps, but for me most useful.for this you just set a pace target in your pre-start screen. No need to use the new progressive pacer S+

 @Egika said in S+ Race pacer: for this you just set a pace target in your pre-start screen true but unfortunately, not all activities include the ability to set the pace e.g. nordic walking
-
 @robis oh
-
 @Egika What is that option ? I don’t know it ?
-
 @Tieutieu said in S+ Race pacer: @Egika What is that option ? I don’t know it ? Either he’s referring to Target Pace Zone (“Zones d’intensité > Zones d’allure”) or else something else I don’t have on my S9PP.
-
 @taziden ok thanks. I don’t use target pace zone for now.
-
 @isazi i have tested it. It seems possible to go over the set distance keeping the same computed targeted pace. That’s right ?
-
 @Egika there doesn’t seem to be any such option on S9PP
-
 @Francesco-Pagano read manual:
 https://www.suunto.com/Support/Product-support/suunto_9_peak_pro/suunto_9_peak_pro/recording-an-exercise/using-targets-when-exercising/there’s HR zones, pace zones and power zones.

-
 @Brad_Olwin really? for walking I only have HR zones… in Race and Vertical…
-
 @Egika
 You are night! Why did they do that?

OK I am wrong! I would record as a run and change in the app to Nordic walking. I will bring this up.

 Long waited app. A few days ago I was thinking about ‘pacer pro’ analogue and here it is. Can’t wait to use it on a race!
 PS: pace zone as a target could be used as a pacer only after editing specific zone in the watch and narrowing it to desired pace. Not as comfortable as pacer app (I guess)
-
 How do you change the settings (distance/duration) for this app. They are locked out in the android app.
-
 @forde-mic you have to until the sync of the S+ app finishes for it to allow you to edit values. Wait for some secs, once the watch is syncing message disappears, you can edit values.
-
 @herlas thanks, I’ve tried that, but the values just seem to greyed with no option to edit them. Clicking on them does nothing.
