I had been having issues with the storm alert on Suunto Vertical and Suunto Race watches. Had brought it outdoors, storm alert enabled, and visibly can see that air pressure had a drop, but no storm alert is ever triggered. Always just getting caught in very bad weather condition, hail and storm.

Is there anyone that have a look on this? As without the storm alert, the watches looses it key value. Thanks

@Peyton-TianYan said in Storm Alert feature not working:

        air pressure had a drop

Did the drop exceeds the threshold? 4 hPa (0.12 inHg) or more during a 3-hour period.

@Peyton-TianYan Two days ago I saw the storm alert on my Vertical. We had a huge snow storm approaching and the alarm triggered just fine.

I have had the storm alert several times during the 3 recent named storms in the UK, so for sure the storm alert is working on my Vertical.

Very silly question… do you have the Storm Alert switched on under ‘alarms’?

Sorry, I see you did have the alert on.

Then either the pressure drop was not fast enough, or you have faulty units.

Working for me too (on Vertical, Rave, and S9PP). We had few big storms recently in NL and the alarm rang.
