Suunto watches to come in 2024
-
@Josaiplu same here, would prefer a all black titanium one. Can’t wait for a Race with the (for me) perfect size of 45mm
-
Adaptive 7-day training plan to improve your fitness…sounds like daily suggested workouts
-
@dulko79 The 5 Peak apparently has that as well. I’ve never turned it on as I use TAO but yes, it is supposed to give a week by week set of workout recommendations
-
So Monday is the big day? Or…?
-
@dulko79 What do you think? Will the 7 day training plan come to the regular Race too or will that be a Race S feature only?
-
@Patrick-Löffler-0 I doubt that it would be exclusive to the Race S.
-
@Patrick-Löffler-0 I don’t know about if and when new Suunto watches are being released (but I heard next week there will be bike computers from Coros and Garmin), but in the current Suunto lineup differences in features are hardware driven, so assuming training plans are coming, I don’t see them limited to only unreleased watches (unless they require some hardware features).
-
@raceaddict I see the baro hole has moved too, at least if it’s in the same place on the Race as the 9PP - hopefully solves the extreme issues in decent wind.
-
@The_77 Yes they moved them vs 9PP/Vertical/Race, we can see them on the opposite side vs buttons and for sure I cannot say if it will improve things … let’s hope
-
@Josaiplu Hello, I can’t see any information about this new Race S. Can you please give me a link?

Check on google “suunto ocean el corte ingles”

@cosme-costa oh wow… now that’s a beautiful watch. I wonder if it offers all Race/Vertical functions + diving. If yes I would be quite tempted to get it
Dive in Greece on my holidays and use it as Race/Vertical on normal days. -

Dive in Greece on my holidays and use it as Race/Vertical on normal days.In the description says that is a diving watch with all the Race functionality. It also talks about 95 sport profiles, this plus Suunto’s Instagram, that will be it, a diving sport watch.
From what I see in the pictures the baro hole is the same than in race and vertical, so I wonder if they can port also the diving features to the race and vertical, I think I’m asking for too much. -
@cosme-costa
feature wise maybe, but might be limited in altitude precision for the dive device, while limited to depth for the sport device. Except if a common pressure component is used to satify both.
Let see. -
@cosme-costa, In some way, I hope not => I’d rather have news features in my SV for trail running (climb pro like, rep/step counter with native pyramidal exercices) than diving functionnalities.
-
@Tieutieu I’m with you, I’m a zero in/on/under the water but I was wondering. From what I have read in the Spanish Telegram forum, the new upgrade is going to be huge related to navigation features and people at Suunto are very happy and proud of it, then we will see if the hype was too big or meet people expectacions.
From what I have deduced the next firmware is in someway linked to a new version of SA, this SA version is like the one in iOS but nothing has arrived to Android yet, I guess when the Android version is released the firmware update will be very close, I could be mistaken, all this is my guessing.
-
@cosme-costa same toughts here : SA on IOs is probably ready for what will come on next watches fw. As you said, let’s wait for Android users good signs !

@Tieutieu my f5 keyboard key is al;ost dying
