Suunto watches to come in 2024

@Saketo-Nemo
I celebrate the sustainability awareness a lot! -
@thailon Do you mean Movescount? That is highly unlikely to happen as both Android and iOS Apps can run on their respective Windows and Mac computers. I can run Suunto App on Mac Silicon with a 16" screen. There is no need to develop a web-based app as the current apps work perfectly on larger platforms.
-
@zanxion agreed!
SRAM buys Suunto and the new fully integrated Karoo 3 is delivered.
Zipp tires are announced and then you can have everything in one ecosystem umbrella.
-
@mlakis That would be nice, but I’d like a nice cycling computer made by my favorite maker a lot more. Cycling computers have bigger screens and they are more cycling orientated devices than sport watches.

@zanxion, or just a decent, modern, small factor handlebar mount for the current watches!
I don’t see much how can that evolve from their ownto either this or this
On my side I think it would be cool to see new mid end devices with barometer, based on the design of the s9b ti charcoal with updated internals.
Something at the current price (around 250eur), so it would also be competitive with coros and fr165 .
And for sure software update for all devices with more customization and watch faces. -

I was thinking the same!

Or…this design!

This one was pretty cool

@André-Faria, see here and here.
Older mounts you referred are large and developed for older watches not accounting the HR sensor that has to be protected.
-
I use this mount for all watches with OHR … https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0B9N9BYXK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
-
@zanxion I use Suunto Race + Karoo2, full compatibility with SuuntoApp and AXS ecosystem. I went from Garmin Fenix7X and Edge 130+.
-
@UjcoCZ how do you find the battery life with the Karoo?
-
Stuff will be made. Software will be written. Forums will be full of frustrated people. Comparisons will be made.
You know. Business as usual.

@Łukasz-Szmigiel
the glass is only half full when we don’t even know if there really is a glass? -
@freeheeler There is always the glass. The glass is existence. The future: its contents and level. Our cultural preconceptions: its shape and its color. The straw: our personal interpretation. The little umbrella: I have no idea what that’s doing there.
The spoon, on the other hand …
-
There is no spoon

hi folks,
my little brother is looking for a sportwatch. As Suunto ambassador, I of course recommended a Suunto Watch.
I noticed that 5peak and 9peak are not anymore on the french website.
I hope to see an entry or mid-range watch back on the website. -
@Brad_Olwin yes I do, just typo. How could I easily run SuuntoApp on Windows as kind of replacement for movescount?

I hope to see an entry or mid-range watch back on the website.I think the 9 Peak Pro is the mid range watch at the moment, and it is a good one as it runs the same kind of OS as the SV and SR – just no maps and no naps. But you are right, there is no entry watch at the moment.

@thailon there is on Android emulator or something like that. it has been discussed here before.
