My watch just did a factory reset on itself this morning. Anyone else have that happen?

Always carry a flaggon of whiskey for snakebite; and furthermore, always carry a small snake.

User of pretty much every watch since the Ambit 3 Peak. Now back in the family w SV :)

@stromdiddily I had it happen a while back when charging and downloading maps.

on the latest build (2.30.38) I haven’t had it factory reset but a “soft rest” happened after the touch screen became unresponsive and one other time while charging. It just restarted and came back to life but none of the data was wiped.

@stromdiddily No, I purchased a personal use Vertical three weeks ago and using for everything along with field test units. I have no issues so far. Anything else you can tell us? Full resets should not happen.

I can tell you it was after I did a factory reset on my phone.

It had the date, time, training metrics all incorrect (example no HR graph, TSB, etc) and had reset my list of activity types.

Just resync’d it to my new phone and everything is back to normal. Have never experienced anything like that before

yeah, little premature on this post as it resolved itself but definitely weird as I haven’t had that happen before!
