Planned Training from TrainingPeaks not showing on watch
-
Hi,
I’ve been running with Suunto since 2014 and last week I’ve started using a training plan from TrainingPeaks. The planned workouts sync to my Suunto app (as you can see on the screenshot), but when I start a workout it is not prompting nor showing in the guides on my watch. It did work twice, but the last workouts it’s not showing anymore.
Any advice?
Thanks!

@matthiasvileyn can you translate? Are the workouts synced to the watch?
-
@Brad_Olwin it says “synced with watch (6)” and “Remove” after every workout

@matthiasvileyn this should work but you must engage with the sport chosen. If you scroll to guides on the watch prior to exercise are these workouts listed? The exercises should show a date! Is there a date for the workout listed.

Just so I understand the process and workflow. Looking at the screenshot I would expect a Suunto Guide for Max Box Step Up/Down 30min available today but only in the Strength exercise profile?
When you use TrainingPeaks Guides do they get added and removed from the watch as needed? Does the Suunto App get cleaned or flushed out at any point or do you end up with a long list of workouts from TrainingPeaks?

#I is correct, it will only show for weightlift. Second is yes, you will have a week of exercises present, past dates are removed. Sync is nearly instantaneous as I can change TP and sync SA immediately.

@Brad_Olwin Thank you for confirming. Good to hear the TrainingPeaks stuff will get flushed, that is one issue I have with Garmin Connect; I end up with pages of workouts that are not editable so I just end up deleting.
I’m guessing from a ease of use, if you have a regular workout that you tend to fall back on you could create that within the Suunto App and just keep it on the watch to run as and when; I’m thinking that easy run with strides

@FunkyLarma most of my workouts are simple and I use structured workouts in SA for those. I find it easier to manage them. Some are from training peaks.
