I found a bug on the original SV watschface.

      20240326_122510.jpg

Trainig time is only correct on standby mode. When you press the middle button you get the picture above (0:00).

Suunto really needs watchface designer, we have really well and simple designed watches with watchfaces that look like some gamer kid designed them. 2 out of 3 new watch faces are terrible. Those sharp and “fast” fonts are just ugly.

Map ruler is nice addition. I won’t use it often but it is good to have it.

Custom battery mode for race, anyone? Ability to turn off screen during workouts is a must for me.

        Is this solved?

@helgonet12 it is the original SV watch face, modified because the S9PP does not support the graph at the bottom. Not sure why on SV we do not have the baro trend, but I think Suunto is going to improve complications 🙂

I confirm, and i would have liked to have it. Date in the bottom + two additionnal fields on top.

But, apart from reviewing it right after release of FW, i don’t care that much about watchfaces 😉
Nice to have but not that a blocker for any activities.

Ok. Which one is it? I just checked again all 3 new ones but couldn’t find it.
Edit: I saw, it is the one for Vertical non solar, but the solar version???

@helgonet12 oh, sorry about that. That’s strange it’s missing on the vertical.

So there’s no baro trend in any watchface in outdoor oriented watch?

No watch face with baro trend on the Vertical (non solar). Just on the S9PP, the one posted above …

@Łukasz-Szmigiel There is a barometric widget and while exercising a S+ app shows barometric trend. So, it is not hard to see the data. As @isazi stated we believe improvements for complications are planned.

You are right: no barometric trend on any watchface of an “outdoor adventurers watch” (solar)
Instead a completely useless solar harvesting trend. I could cry.

@markusoutdoors I find the solar graph useful. Perhaps others do as well.

What information do you get from the solar graph? You see with your eyes and without the watch if the sun is shining or not but you don’t see changes in barometric pressure which can be essential for your beeing outside on tour.

I can see that the post is already drifting into new requests… I want a watchface like this or like that.

                                  Personally I was waiting,

                                  • for the watch and phone to be aligned in CTL, ATL and TSB,
Day 1 it works. If it’s still working tomorrow morning, that’ll be great news.

                                  • I was keen to see the Running Estimate and Lactate (RACE) working. It’s working now, perfect.

If Suunto has improved the speed of the interfaces, GNSS, OHR, Sleeping: perfect.

So thank you for this update 👍 , which restores essential elements that should have been working since the launch of the Race

After 8 years with Garmin and several watches in different ranges, I switched to Suunto in 2023, with the Race.

@Arnaud-Lclr I suppose it has something to do with a lot of people being so excited about a new update so it’s almost impossible to satisfy their wild expectations. It’s like a big dopamine hit expecting something new and shiny and then being disappointed because it’s just a “boring” update. I think that this is the way the most od people are wired nowadays. Unfortunately…

@sartoric *or solar harvesting optimally. Photovoltaic is very susceptible to tilt. Knowing it is at the correct angle is useful. I am a fan of the solar graph.
