…after receiving the small Bugfix update .14 a few days ago and starting a commute ride again this morning, I have the feeling (again) that any firmware update resets all of my settings - aka Autopause was off and I only noticed this while staying longer at one place…

Is this true or why does this sometimes go back to off again?

@Olaf-Gottschalk you are right, some settings are part of the sport mode itself, and get overwritten when updating the firmware. Not sure about auto-pause (I have ti always off, maybe that’s the default), but auto-laps sure is.

@Olaf-Gottschalk yes. My autopause was turned off. Turned it back on. All is fine.

@Olaf-Gottschalk yes, Autopause setting is reverted with firmware updates.
I have reported this as a bug some time ago.
No idea how high this one is on the list though…

@Olaf-Gottschalk mine does not reset settings.

I honestly doubt this 100% - it happens for everybody. Today with the latest update again.

With today’s update the same happens over and over again. This is so sick.

I use 10 or more profiles regularly - if the firmware is kept up to date and bugs are fixed frequently, which I like a lot - I am forced to recheck these settings like auto pause, feeling, etc over and over again.
                This makes me angry.

@Olaf-Gottschalk totally agree with you. Suunto should save things like thar in the App. Same with heart rate zones and custom Sport modes

                    I’m with @Audaxjoe in this.
After the firmware updates all my (custom) sport modes still had the same autopause setting as before the update.

@surfboomerang custom modes are not touched, original ones are reset.
