    Hello Suunto Team, I was wondering whether you are planning to release USB-C versions of the charging cables any time in the future for existing products, e.g. Vertical, Race, Wing, Sonic… Would be great not reduce the number of chargers that I have to bring along.

      @hellojulius in my opinion this could compromise the watch design, so I don’t think is could be part of the roadmap of the watch products… but I might be wrong

        @suzzlo
        I think the OP is asking for the plug in the charger part to be USB c, and still having the suunto part for each watch.
        But I may be wrong after reading again 🙄

          @Mff73 ahhh could be…. I don’t see any big challenge moving to USB-C in connection to the grid

            @Mff73 @suzzlo thanks for your swift answers.

            Indeed I meant the charger part of the cable to be changed from USB-A to USB-C. The connector to the watch should stay whatever is best for the design / function of the watch.

            I’d definitely buy such a cable right away if available 🙂

              @hellojulius
              You can easily workaround this with an adapter A to C

                Been with a Suunto on my wrist since Ambit2
                Currently alternating between Race titanium & Vertical titanium solar.
                Would love a Vertical with amoled display.

                    As far as I know, Type C chargers are fast chargers
                    Everyone knows that a low amperage is better for charging in order to preserve battery life.
                    A point for thought

                      @Danny-poleg you may be correct, but I thought the current was regulated by the device?

                      So you can’t fast charge something that isn’t set up for fast charging. Certainly in my limited experience the only thing that charges fast on my fast charger is my phone!

                        @Audaxjoe I took the example from the world of electric vehicles (I don’t have an electric vehicle) where they say that it is better to charge overnight at home and as little as possible to charge with fast chargers at a gas station

                          @Danny-poleg
                          You are mixing examples.
                          The electric car is able (like powerful smartphone) to accept heavy intensities for charging. But charging at home is slow by the source of current itself (your home electric domestic plug) is considered as low intensity charger.
                          In case of watches, it is the opposite the ‘watch itself is determining its required current from the charger and won’ t pull much energy than required.
