      This watch looks really nice, but it is also really heavy (99g)! Not so good for the OHR sensor? Will there be a titanium version, or is stainless steel essential for diving ?

        @SuperFlo75 the watch itself if basically the same weight as Vertical. the extra 10g come from the sturdy diving strap.
        If you use a Suunto silicone strap the weight is the same as Vertical 🙂

            Judging from the promotional materials - UI looks fantastic, nicely designed.

                @Egika I can read on Suunto homepage… SV Titatium solar 74g, Suunto Steel 86g, and Ocean 99g 🤔 25g difference… I use SV Ti 😃

                  @SuperFlo75 99 with the strap, 73 without (on my scale). It is a heavier watch, but is a diving watch first.

                    @SuperFlo75 Based on my testing using a different strap my OHR readings are good with this watch, surprisingly good. It is similar to the weight of the steel Vertical and I have tested with a lighter strap.

                        @isazi does it have the nap detection like Race has? 🤔😊

                          I can use some nap time during a dive ! 😁

                          Very relaxing environment ☺️

                            @Brad_Olwin should consider this watch over vertical or race if i am not doing diving? It is really beautiful but heavy watch

                                @krakra I would not. This is a watch for recreational divers that do also other sports. If you don’t dive, you can save money and buy a Race or Vertical.

                                  @SuuntoR never tested, I don’t take naps, but it should as anything else sleep related is the same as Race.

                                    I would get either the Vertical or Race titanium instead, they are much lighter if you do no diving. The battery life on the Ocean and Race should be identical. I need the battery life of the Vertical, that is why I purchased a Vertical for my own use. I do like the Race a lot but want to have maps when I do longer races.
