@kohjl if you are using Healthfit, try RunGap as It can transfer specific date ranges so will import in bulk. Both iOS.

@Brad_Olwin Thanks, but I’m an Android user, and I don’t think even RunGap can get around Fitbit’s API limitations.

I am using the ocean since about a week now. I really like the watch. I was not able to take it to a dive yet so i cannot say anything about that yet but i love having a watch like my old d5 that also allows me to track normal fitness activity.
I however still have some little trouble with it:

        • You can set a wake up alarm in the watch, however its not possible that the watch vibrates when the Android device’s wake up alarm goes, it would be nice if that could be in sync somehow
        • I have to manually open the suunto app to sync my steps to suunto (and with health sync then too google fit) which won’t work anymore if it was steps from yesterday already (you have to manually re-sync then). It would be good if you could somehow setup the intervall the watch syncs steps to the app
        • the worse thing: when i dive in germanies lakes i usally use a 7mm half dry neopren. However since my arm is already quite big the normal strep with 230mm won’t fit anymore after adding 14mm more to my arm’s diameter, for the D5 there was a strap extention for dry suits available but due to the D5 having a 24mm and the Ocean having only 22mm thats not compatible. Will there be a 22mm extention for the ocean?

        Greetings
        Sven

@isazi its pretty much the default one as the default is also up to 215cm.
For the D5 there was this:
            https://www.suunto.com/de-de/Produkte/Taucharmbander/suunto-dive-1-silikon-verlangerungsarmband-24-mm/suunto-dive-1-silikon-verlangerungsarmband-24-mm-schwarz/
Which is long enough for a thick neopren or a dry one.

I know you already commented that today’s super nice firmware update will arrive on the Ocean later. Any circa timeframe (weeks, months,…) you can share? Thanks.

@Patrick-Löffler-0 not this summer I believe, but Ocean may still receive an hotfix release (fixing bugs and dive related) during summer

Does anybody use the Ocean already for sleep tracking and can tell if it shows the sleep score on the watch? Thanks

@isazi You are so fast! Thanks. But it does not have the new watch faces of the actual Race/Vertical/9PP firmware update? For that it also needs the latest firmware update, which will take time.

@Patrick-Löffler-0 it has at least one new watch face, the one with the diving ring. To be honest I lost track of all watchfaces, and I cannot turn it on now (need to travel today).

@isazi Thanks again. Safe travels then. The background for all these questions is: I am thinking of getting one. Although I am no diver. It just looks so stunning. I am trying to find out if it can be my daily driver instead of the Race or even the Race S (which I find also interesting, but mainly because of the new OHR sensor and lighter weight). 😇

@Patrick-Löffler-0 I can help. The Ocean has the same watch faces as the Vertical but does not have the firmware update so you cannot select the complications as with the most recent update. Because this is a diving watch updates must be carefully tested and cannot affect diving functions. The update will come to the Ocean but it will not get updates as often as the sport watches. I can post photos if you wish.

@Patrick-Löffler-0 I have the 3 as of now 🙂 The Ocean is the biggest and most stunning watch among them, the Race is not far in beauty and I find the crown pleasant to use and is my daily driver and than the Vertical being the titanium is the lightest that I use in demanding environments (don’t care a lot about scratching it etc.).

Suunto watches: Ocean (Sand), Race (Titanium Charcoal), Vertical (Titanium Solar Sand), 9 Baro (Ambassador Edition), Spartan Ultra (Copper Edition), Ambit 2, S6

@Brad_Olwin Thank you Brad. Does it have this one as well? And may I ask your opinion about having it as a daily driver. I know that you wrote somewhere that you wear the Race S now a lot because of its light weight. So it’s weight versus extreme good looking watch. IMG_1263.jpeg

@Patrick-Löffler-0 That particular watch face is not present but I suspect it will be in the future.
As a daily driver I tested the watch for at least a week or two. For me, it works as well as the Race or Vertical, no issues other than weight. Part of that weight is the band. So, to get the weight down as much as possible I purchased a third party Velcro band. It works extremely well and gives me surprisingly good OHR readings while running trails, in fact, very good. The velcro band prevents the watch from moving around.
I do not have big wrists so it is heavy to wear at night, however, again with the Velcro band it is more comfortable than the silicone bands.
