SOFTWARE UPDATE 2.35.34 Q2
-
Hi everyone,
What is this blue X in the centre? (I tried to search but my keywords didn’t return any results, sorry if this is a duplicate…)
-
@BrunoH I think its a bug. Do you have DND on? I got it on the same WF. For me it indicated that DND is on. When i pressed a button to activate the screen it changed to the right “DND icon”.
-
@Samuel-Pirttikangas thanks, that’s it! My dnd hits automatically at 21:00.
-
@Luis-Andés-Olmedo Gotcha!
-
Hi, I have VO2 in all trainings but not in the watchface and can’t see any statistics regarding that.
-
@DMytro yes, but it shouldn’t be like that. It’s a mistake.Custom cycling sports profile created exactly like I had on the S9B. It worked there. Not on Race.
-
Hello, doesn’t someone also noticed slightly higher hrv values since update ?
I’m pretty tired and got a bit hill lately, but my HRV values are at their higher values. -
@Marton-Attila Same here. 4 days since full charge and battery has dropped more than 40% (4h in GPS activity mode). More than 10% by day.
Never happened before with my Vertical… -
Regarding battery drain:
I can also add that yesterday my battery was 67% - I’ve also done a soft reset reading some other threads here - and today it is 57% and I haven’t done any activity. The SV is only tracking sleep/hrv and 24/7 HR.
In the previous days the battery was on last friday at 100% and got to 70% after 10hrs of activity tracking (2 walks and one race) with Suunto Plus apps and maps only for the race, the 70% was on Sunday evening before bed. In this case the 30% drain seems normal because of the s+ apps and navigation through maps in all the activities.

@Tieutieu today I had highest HRV (102) and lowest HR (44avg, 41min) recorded not sure if I am fit AF or just new firmware First couple of days after update I didn’t have such values, but I had bad sleep (big training days/dehydrated /hot weather…).

@HansLeo to all with quicker battery consumption after an update: pleas check here Q1:

@jjpaz Happens to me too, noticed since 2.33.16 and even now has the same problem. I use vertical only for training and when it is still it loses 20% in 30 hours. Tried soft reset and full charge. Something wrong

In addition, about battery

i need help
In Suunto climb there is an option to click on the +/- sign
In the vertical watch for some reason pressing this button brings me to multisport
what did i do wrong
Is there an English movie to see? -
@Danny-poleg With which watch?
With the SV is a small click, long press goes to multisport, in SR maybe different. I’ve tested it and it works well but I have read that some imported routes could be that climb guidance does not work. -
@cosme-costa First of all, it is a Suunto Vertical
I tried gentle presses but it doesn’t do anything
Do You have the option to send me a route or it will only work when I am in the activity itself and on route? -
@Danny-poleg Were you using a pre-update route already on the watch?
-
@Fenr1r Sorry, but I didn’t understand the meaning
-
@Danny-poleg To make it work you have to be following a route, then you will be able to do zoom in the profile. You can create one in Suunto App, and follow it during the activity and you would see it working.

@Likarnik I’m usually at around 50 - 60 HRV, but recently had a month of 60 - 80 which, again, came down to 50 - 60 with occasional 60 - 70. And it started and ended abruptly with that weird month. It happened regardless of the new firmware. The only thing that might have changed in my case was the increase of vitamin D, as I’ve started supplementing due to deficiencies. Training load seems similar, but I guess it’s called “variability” for a reason
Perhaps you’ve changed something in your diet or had a perfect sleep, and it’s not related to the firmware?
