Defining Sport Specific SuuntoPlus Apps to reduce menu lag
-
Had a thought on this. Currently when you jump into the Suunto Plus menu, it gets populated with every option, regardless of they are specifically sport tailored. Not including pushed workouts of course.
For example, I’d never use movement intensity on a run, but I do with circuit training; the gym timer only on gym related workouts; the drink alert only for outdoor events.
So ideally, it would be possible to set the specific sports as an option when installing a Suunto App from the store, so they’d only appear on the sportmodes you select.
This might be over engineering a small problem, but it is a pain waiting for the menu to populate every time I try to scroll down to workouts whilst I have to flick past unrelated apps. Also, probably 9PP related issue due to processor speed.

@The_77 yes, the newer watches have more memory/storage and cache the S+ information, so scrolling the list is smoother.

@isazi figured, if it’s sorted in those then I can’t imagine it’ll get looked at for the 9PP. Ta for the confirmation.

That’s a bug I would like to see resolved as well. Why can I see running specific S+ apps, like Cooper test, when I’m setting up an indoor cycling workout? S+ apps should only be visible under the workouts/activities/sports modes they relate to.
