Hi, yesterday I received the new Race S for my wife, soon after having turned it on, paired with SA and made the usual initial settings it said there was a update to be installed, I waited for the download (a circular progress “bar” directly shown on the watch) and then the installation to be (successfully) completed. After the reboot I started to personalize the watch and moved to the SA to install the map of our region, with my surprise I saw on SA the progress bar of the downloading of an update … wondering why there were two consecutive updates to be installed(!). But after the bar reached 100% nothing happened, I turned to Race S off and on again to check if there were some idle process waiting, but nothing. So, why I met that progress bar AFTER having already updated? Seems like SA wasn’t aware that the watch was already updated

@Stefano-M64 I have seen this same behavior on my Vertical with a previous firmware update. The last update worked without an issue however.

@surfboomerang same behaviour on my new Race S.
The only additional thing I noticed is, that the sleep tracking, despite activated, did not work. Blood oxygen and HR were measured, but no sleep output. Did you notice the same?

@Patrick-Rx sorry, the watch was delivered just yesterday afternoon and I usually don’t use the sleep tracking, but I could give a try.

@Patrick-Rx I don’t have sleep enabled so didn’t notice any change.

@Patrick-Rx don’t know if it helps but a similar thing happened to me with the Vertical after the latest firmware update.
I reseted the device deleting all data and configured everything again. After that it’s working again.
