      @Jacobus I guess people use trail running for instance, and could use a tag for their best friend !?

        @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
        We have several types of disciplines “running”, “cycling” (…) etc. why can’t we have several types of “pool swimming”?
        My proposal is to divide swimming into: “Recreational pool swimming” and “Sports pool swimming”.

        Justification.
        After the last two updates (sorry for being honest) Suunto can’t handle the new swimming algorithm.
        So let’s leave the old algorithm for sports training, and add the last one (new) for recreational swimmers.

          @Artus-Diver afaik the last update should have solved the issues with swimming. Is that no ?

            @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos

            Unfortunately, no.
            There is a correlation between people who train sports and those who swim recreationally.
            I train sports and I think that S9B swimming and early algorithms in SV count the best.

            The latest algorithm cannot reconcile these. I wrote about this in other posts.

                @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Unfortunately, it wasn’t arranged for everyone - I sent an email to the person in charge at Suunto personally with all the details (link to training and more).

                      I realize this may be a bit late already, but I’m really missing an archery profile! Especially 3D-Archery is quite the popular sport and I’d love be able to select it as an activity

                            I miss apnea mode(s):

                            • Apnea Pool Training (freediving) as an activity.
                            • Apnea O2 tables training as a guided mode that tracks and guide your progress
                            • Apnea CO2 tables training as a guided mode that tracks and guide your progress

                            And I miss bodyweight/calisthenics training.

                            That is my main stuff so I only track my restitute training as those modes are there.

                                  @Fenr1r strange because hike always have heavyweights backpack’s… And the combination of algorithm distance/weight/elevation gain/ it’s very different from a simple hike.
