            I lack general judgment
As an athletics judge, I would be interested in measuring the time of an activity that I judge, including the number of steps, but the option should also include cumulative ascent and descent, since I also judge mountain bike competitions and walk around the track.

              1. there is no catalogued documentation on each SPORT mode which explain what more than a standard each sport mode automatically brings. I give you an example : only the swimming sport it bringing automatically this “swimming pace clock” without a way to choose it. if I was creating my own WATCH SPORT MODE from nothing I will even not have known this pace clock was eisting.

              2. Again and again and again … for me what is missing is not a watch sport mode, but more a sport screen where there is only 1 but super big information.
I think all developpers in SUUNTO are still young guys with super good eyes and who practice trails but are nto like ma a old lonesome guy in a swimming pool … else they will have realized that even the BIG NUMBER suunto plus screen is not big (not so much that the 3 information sport mode) and when you are visualy impaired and after some hundred of meters with fog in the glasses then you cannot see …

You might think I’m rough with SUUNTO … it’s because I love these watch like hell, I’m now with my third watch … after a BARO 9, I got a RACE and recently a VERTICAL 2 … for the reason to stay with their best watch, but also because being 57 I see less and less … and the new vertical 2 screen is far much better for me.

SUUNTO folks !!! your watch are GIANTLY AWESOME.
you are near to the perfection … near !

Really beleive me there is still few millimeters to be AT PERFECTION level … your watch are awesome, your GUI is awesome, but please please please, instead to do complex things for just few 10 people; think to the mass, to the dozen thousand, hundred thousand people you can please with very very simple enhancements. Having a 1 figure screen is something I ask since my 9 BARO, and still nor here else tell us how we can develop for you and I develop a BIG NUMBER 2. I’m already on a prototype
              🙂

PS : I’m an IT developer with more than 3 decades expertises developping right now in modern langages … with chatgpt or claude AI you could do some POC very easily and see their results, then develop them with yoru own framework very fast.

              See my suggestion here :

Yes, it isn’t clear to me why that wasn’t offered when creating a custom sport mode.

Looking at the available data screen templates, there are options with 3, 4, 5, or 7 data fields, plus a single data field with a graph. Perhaps the latter is what you could try to use, but it looks like the font size is the same as in the 3 fields option.

Speaking of the customization, I only use the 3 or 4 fields per data screen, and occasionally 5. With 7 fields the font is too small for me. For the same reason I never use the lap table - the numbers are way too small. Also I’ve never used interval data screens. I tried to use intensity zones data screen, but it seems to be broken and doesn’t work correctly. The graph data screen would be more useful if it was colored according to intensity zones.

@Sharon-Grant I second that! I track Tai Chi and Qi Gong under Martial Arts (as they are) but would be nice to have a distinction between „outer“ martial arts like Karate, TKD or Muay Thai and „inner“ martial arts like Tai Chi and Qi Gong etc.

                    Currently Race I

@sky-runner Hello, soon and if authorized to do this I will put somewhere on this forum a suggestion I developped for a SINGLE figure sport screen. I’m 57 and now very impaired, I swim and even the screen with 3 digits has too small number when I"m with my foggy glasses … I also looked to the SUUNTOPLUS Big number but they are not such big indeed and I do not like the logic of theri display … I havve another idea that I will suggest in a post to come soon
I will let you know where it is so that you cna make a criticism of it
