About 2 weeks ago my Race fully discharged and remained that way for a few days as I did not use it

When I recharged the watch it started up as if it was a new watch and took me through device setup (age. weight, phone pairing) again like on day 1

    From this point:

The Suunto app failed to see or connect to the watch anymore
Trying to ‘add’ the watch again also failed (did not see it)
Restarting the watch (hold top button for 12 seconds did not solve it)
Deleting previous Bluetooth connections of Sunnto Race did not solve the problem

Some small progress when I uninstalled the Suunto app and reinstalled - the app. can now see the. watch but fails to pair!

i have tried everything I can think of to solve this but since the ‘total discharge’ state about two weeks ago, re-establishing the app. / watch link is impossible.

Does anyone have any idea - I have tried all the above many times and it just no longer connects.

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max on iOS 17.5.1 - I think I was on the Suunti firnware version with Connection or syncing problems when total discharge occured that caused watch to enter Setup mode again happened.

      • Remove watch from BT on phone (forget)
      • Turn off completely BT on phone (I even had to restart my iPhone once)
      • Remove phone from watch settings > connectivity > paired devices
      • Try to re-pair. If not successful do the same again by restarting both phone and watch.
      • Last resort: factory defaults on watch.

Suunto watches: Ocean (Sand), Race (Titanium Charcoal), Vertical (Titanium Solar Sand), 9 Baro (Ambassador Edition), Spartan Ultra (Copper Edition), Ambit 2, S6
