Dexcom/Suunto compatibility

I am T1 diabetic, pretty active outdoors, and have been following updates in hopes that there will be a way to make Dexcom sensors compatible with Suunto watches. Being able to get glucose data available right on my watch when I don’t want to carry my phone around (not the most comfortable when running and not practical for surfing) would be a huge game changer! This functionality is available with the new Dexcom G7 and Apple watches, and I’m wondering if there would be a way to do something similar with a Suunto watch? Dexcom sensors work using bluetooth, and I’d assume there’s a way to write an S+ app to make them compatible with a Suunto watch… any leads?
