@pavel-samokha thank you…!
-
@pavel-samokha When is an update expected?
-
@Danny-poleg no idea
-
Maps for Sweden were just updated as well.
Unfortunately everything else will arrive later. -
@pavel-samokha

-
@pavel-samokha any news for Germany, austria and the alps?! Until today Missing contour lines above 500m zoomlevel
-
@kirill-povarintsev @GiPFELKiND
Thanks for the nudge and sorry about delay with this - it will certainly come, but I can’t promise any date now unfortunately -
@pavel-samokha i cannot understand the priority from Suunto. Longer than 1 year all of US are waiting for contour lines in the Bavaria alps and tyrol … But hey suunto design a Christmas Watchface… Really?! How long to wait again? 2 years???
-
@GiPFELKiND it took me a few moments to get why all of the „United States“ would wait for contour lines in Bavaria - but I got it and you’re right. Are they there for other countries?
-
@GiPFELKiND why would you think that the watch face designers and map creators are the same people?
-
@Egika Probably because both do some magic stuff with computers
-
@GiPFELKiND my boss favorite meme:
But as others mentioned, not all resources are interchangeable and some are limited
-
@Egika Someone decides the importance and hierarchy of priorities and allocation of resources, developers, etc. So what GiPFELKiND wrote earlier is still true.
-
@maszop you clearly don’t work in IT. It’s the same as if a gynecologist were to operate on an eye. Would you approve this on your eye because he has time to spare? Or would you rather wait for an ophthalmologist?
-
@Likarnik To use your analogy, a well-run hospital manages resources appropriately: the number and type of specialization of the doctors.
How long has it been since the release of the Suunto Vertical? The maps are still far behind and there is no signs of any rapid improvement.
-
@maszop sure in your fantasy world
I’m out
-
@maszop genuine question, you say the maps are far behind. Compared to what? I mean I use maps when I run alone in unknown locations but never had a problem find trail paths (Romania and Germany).
