Live location S+ app

@GiPFELKiND Hi, I was in the same situation and tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the option still didn’t appear. To uninstall it, I went to their website (Athlet…) and clicked directly on the download link, which took me to the Play Store for installation. I hope I can help…

Thank you, I’ll try that !

The Bluetooth name of my phone is always changed to “SF-ATHL” by the Live.τ app when connecting to the watch. Is it really required by Live.τ app to change the Bluetooth name of the phone to connect the watch or is it a bug? Has anyone else noticed this? Is there any way to prevent this?
Phone: Pixel 6a with Android 16
Live.τ app version 1.0.10-play

@Nikolai-Simonov Same here… The contour lines show the wrong heights…

Sorry, I haven’t read all the posts.
It happens to me on 9PP with an w/o latest Beta SW-Update:
- Watch connects to Live Location S+ App
- Go for a run and check why there is no speech HR / Rounds output
- See that SuuntoApp on iPhone is open but watch is not connected.
- Check Livetracking APP. Watch is connected and sending coordinates
- After running trying to reconnect watch by killing SuuntoApp sometimes work sometimes not. So does turning bluetooth on / off
Not tested yet if it can be reproduced and happens each time but I don’t think so.

@Nikolai-Simonov I just installed a tried the live.t trackng today and used it on my run. It appears to work well for me. The only thing I noticed (which has been reported and discussed) is the loss of phone<>watch link upon completing the run. This was brief and I was able to toggle it back so the activity could upload.
Setup:
- Pixel 9 Pro Android 16
- S Race latest FW
Nice app! Thanks for the good work and continued development!

@Nikolai-Simonov
Hi,
Is it possible to have multiple email-adresses in that list. If so, what do I use to separate the adresses?Regards, Jonas

Hey there,
I have another question - if you lose mobile signal during your run, does the app collect gps data and sends it all once it’s back on signal, so that there is a drawn course on a map, or does it jump from last know location to the place where it get it’s signal back. I hope I have explained it well
And another one - is it already possible to show planed course on a map along already-done course?Tnx,
Jan -
The 2 maximum suunto+ app limitation is an absolute killer for this
-
@hatori_hanzo Unless it has changed, it doesn’t collec data but draw a ligne from last send point.
-
@Tieutieu thank you! I thought it’s like that, yeah.
-
@James-Eastwood you are right, hopefully the new hardware will allow for more S+ apps and guides in the future
-
This needs to be part of the SUUNTO application if you want customers to adopt it. It is currently too complicated.

@Frederick-Rochette I’m very pleased that a solution has been found and greatfull to the developper. It works well if needed, but nevetheless I agree with you and wish we could have a fully integrated solution, based on SA (like coros or garmin).

Small feedback : yesterday I used live tracking « on the fly ». I was pacing a friend on a race, navigating along a route. I activated it while exercice had already started, it worked very smoothly (way more than my initial test when app was released). I have also activated afterwards the gpx display. Almost instantly uploaded and displayed. Well, already said, it would be perfect if fully integrated with SA, but as this point considering you just have to open app live app to make it work, it’s already very convenient and very well executed. Updates since my initial test make it very pleasant and easy to use.
