More possibilities for pre set training
-
I have a Suunto 9. I love my Sports watch. It has been a great help.
I want an option to save a few interval training sessions. Right now, I can only do one.
I would like to have at least three different training sessions saved, which would make my training more pleasant and accurate.

@FKatayama The Suunto 9 does support SuuntoPlus, right, so can you not create structured workouts in the app and sync them over?

@far-blue, thanks for the insight. I’ve checked, and paying extra for the App subscriptions is possible.
Suunto 9 has the feature of ONE interval training pre-set. I believe having 2 more pre-set training sessions is enough, and there is no extra pay or third-party companies.

@FKatayama Hm I am not sure, whether I got you right, but for creating structured interval session (more type of intervals) you do not need any extra subscription or payment. You can create your interval session directly in the SA and the upload it to the watch. That’s it. For simple structured intervals, you can use the SA. For more complicated session, there are few tools out there, which works with Suunto. I am using TrainigPeaks. I have paid version, but even in free version, Workout builder is available.Once created, you’ll activate it in your watch via “Guides” option in your pre-activity options menu. Or even better, if you plan it for exact date and you want to perform the session on that day, it will appear directly when you select the ectivity, for or which you have created the workaout Just give it a try, if you need more detailed walkthrough, just ask, I am sure that people on this forum will help you

FANTASTIC TIP!!
Yes, I need to create 2 - 3 different interval training sessions. My Suunto gives me only one training, which is annoying because I need to re-do it every time.
As you may have noticed, I am not super tech, but I will look your way.
Let me see if I can do it. ahahahaha… [face palm]

@FKatayama I believe some of the way the UI looks has changed in the App but the basic concepts are covered in this help article from Suunto
Please also note (as has been covered in numerous forum posts) there is currently no above/below range alert with Structured workouts like there are with watch-native intervals. But you do still get the next-step alerts.
