to buy or not to buy …
a Suunto charging cable on AMAZ…
I would like to have a backup charging cable for my SUUNTO RACE watch in my professional satchel so when I travel I’m absolutelly sure that I will be able to refuel my watch even if I forget the original cable.
Looking to SUUNTO web site I see almost always (this is the case currently) that the charging cable are out of stock …
Looking to AMAZ… I can see some, also with a price divided by 2 …
Now the question is … are they reliable ? will they not endanger the watch ? will you have bough such cable from here ?
Please avoid easy answers such as “a copy does not worth the orignal” or “you take yoru own risks” but you personally what are you doing ???

@Mister-PYC i bought the following one for a backup and it seems to work. Cable is longer so works well for my home set up.

@Mister-PYC I use a cable from Amazon, much cheaper than the Suunto OEM cable, and it’s longer. Works just fine.

@VoiGAS I haven’t seen one but USB C to USB sockets are readily available if you need to convert.

@Todd-Danielczyk Thank you, I meant a charging pod without cable. But you are right it would also work with an attached cable plus adapter. Just a little bit more bulk - but not too much

@VoiGAS I haven’t found any other combination out there outside of this.
Using an adapter I can charge it off my phone if I needed to as long as I have the charging cable, but my Nitecore power bank has both USB A and USB C so I can charge the phone and watch in remote areas and would be the more common situation for me.
