How to understand the zone sense
-
I get the suunto herat belt for cicling workouts and now I’m triing the new feture of zone sense, but i can’t understand the graph on the suunto app. It’s very diferent from the hearth rate normal graph and I don’t realy understand why… is there any site to compare results?? i left a graph of my last workout
Thanks!! -
@EdCaballer this is currently discussed in another (big) thread. Maybe you can find it.
In general: ZoneSense is something different to HR. If it was just HR multiplied by a factor, it would not be the revolution that is actually is.That’s also why it does not really make sense to put ZS and HR next to each other and try to find a correlation.
ZoneSense is a live measurement of your metabolism. It shows you, if your body is in aerobic or anaerobic state. And your body can reach those stages from different factors. HR is just one factor. But if you are for example going downhill, HR will stay low. Still muscle fatigue can lead to higher ZS figures.
