    I received my Race S 3 weeks ago and realised since day one that the back button (the one below the crown) is not as clicky and a bit mushy compared to my top button. My top button is super clicky, very audible and satisfying.

    Does anyone experience the same and can it be resolved? Is it by design or is it kind of a quality control inconsistency?

      It sounds like a bad button. I got my Race S about the same time as you, both the top and bottom button have the same tactile feel.

        @Bastienhere Just checked and mine is the same. Top exceptionally clicky, bottom not so much. But both are functional.

          @gerstlauer hmm i wonder if it’s a common thing. My bottom button is fully functional too, it just doesn’t feel as comfortable to press and I always have a slight fear it will fail soon.

            @Bastienhere I had the same problem. I put the watch under running water and kept pushing the button for a while. Dried it with towel, shaking and blowing - problem solved.

              @sracer i might give this a try if I feel brave 😂

              I have this preassumption that pressing the button under water entails a higher risk of water damage due to moving parts

                @Bastienhere Race S is waterproof up to 50m. There is absolutely no restrictions to use the buttons under water.

                  @sracer i know i know, it’s just not something I’m used to, just like dipping a waterproof phone in water 😅

                          @VoiGAS lucky 😞 it looks like some people are experiencing similar back button mushiness like me, kind of a shame in terms if quality control.

                            I’ll try the multiple click stuff under water on the weekend 😉

                              @Bastienhere I bought the Titanium Version and it’s the same now after a few weeks.
                              Upper button is clickly, lower button not so much anymore.

                                @lessthanmore interesting, So even the titanium version has the same ‘issue’! Definitely not ideal… I hope Suunto knows about this one.
