Why open water swim doesnt register any GPS track? Doesnt matter I use it on beach to test it, or I use it while crawl swimming?
    Will you repair this?

    Bike works very well.
    Running and hike also.

@karmazynowycukiereczek nothing to repair. It is working as designed.
You can make sure to use the open water swimming sport mode and that inthe exercise settings GPS is on
Then wait for the GPS arrow in the pre start screen to turn green. Your track will be recorded then.

@Egika I once waited 5 minutes and nothing. This is purely soft issue.

I have the same issue with my Suunto Race S. No GPS recording for open water swimming. GPS recording for open water swimming is a must and should be fixed soon.

@karmazynowycukiereczek Unfortunately, GPS does not receive signals underwater.
You need to make sure that you are swimming freestyle and when you reach a resting position, leave your hand with the watch out of the water on a buoy that you are swimming with.

@GiPFELKiND in my case, GPS doesn’ recive signals anywhere. Again, I switch the swimming mode on, waited for five minutes and went for a walk - nothing. Repeated the same distance but with walk mode on and it recorded the distance. So GPS works, swimming mode switches it off…

can you make sure that you select open water swimming?
In pool swimming GPS is supposed to be off.
Plus double check that in the training options of your open water swimming sport mode, battery mode is set to power and the GPS switch is on.

@Egika I tried that, many times. I performed all kinds of resets, switched all off/on. Sometimes I get reading for 2 or 10 meters, and it’s off again.

@Sta-Rydziad maybe something is broken for your individual watch. Probably an issue with the antenna.
                          I suggest you contact service.

@Egika yes, antena is broken in open swim water mode, but in run, hike and bike works excellent 😛

                              @karmazynowycukiereczek antenna or something else.
My suggestion is the same: contce support. This is not a behavior by design…
