Sleep tracking
-
First reading after yesterday’s update, got super inaccurate sleep reading! Any one else??
Before updating I was overly satisfied with sleep tracking.
It might be a one time glitch, time will tell but I don’t believe in coincidence… -
@peegee, I’m wearing a 9PP and I can say that after every update (for doubt’s sake, I also soft reset the watch after every update) the first sleep tracking is not really accurate: actually, I’ve updated the watch yesterday and even for me the sleep tracking was bad.

Same here. on a race an a race s…
I imagine it will go back to normal in a couple of days, -
Wearing a Suunto Race for a couple of weeks and been very happy with that!
This night for the first time the watch didn’t track sleep and HRV (HR and gain of resources were tracked and showed in the graphs).
I know that a bug exists for OHR in 9PP, but this seems not be the same case.
Have anyone ever experienced a similar scenario or might have suggestions why this happened? -
@Matúš @claudiotereso Can we please stay on topic? This one is for Race. There are other threads for the other watches.

@suuntoracoon Same for me, no sleep tracking tonight, first time it’s done that
I tried a simple restart, we’ll see next night -
same for me, missing morning report and abnormal sleep tracking.
-
Woke up this morning and initially didn’t have the morning report and sleep tracking. After 15 minutes it all displayed on the watch and then later on synced up to Suunto App. There were definitely a delay. I did try manually syncing as I woke up but it didn’t work. So for me initially I thought I didn’t work as people described here but turned out to be a delay. (Has been very instant the last couple of days).

This night I had no sleep tracking and also the OHR has stopped working. Now I have tried a soft reset and I have sent logs with Suunto App.
I am thinking that the only thing that has changed in the last two nights when I had problems with the sleep tracking has been that I have set an alarm on the SR to wake up (instead of setting the alarms on my phone as usual)

@peegee Last night was the first time sleep tracking didn’t work properly for me. I went to sleep at 10pm but the sleep tracker said I didn’t go to sleep until 2am, so it incorrectly said I got 4 hours of sleep, instead of 8 hours.
This is the first time this has happened since I got this watch about 6 months ago. Is it coincidence that it’s on the latest firmware? Seems unlikely, so call this a confirmation of the sleep tracking bug.

In 4 out of 13 days since the last update the sleep tracking does not work well. Yesterday the tracking started 2hrs later than I slept. Few days before it stopped way to early and add up a nap. In another night the OHR was off.
I know you cant rely on minutes at a sleep tracking function in wearables, but since the update it is far from good.

@Clément-Lavabre
I downgraded to earlier version, until suunto does a fix…️ -

Very annoying, you expect an upgrade to improve functions, not to degrade working ones
-
@MRC01
No coincidence, annoying upgrade bug -
@SergioB
It has nothing to do with setting the alarm, I always use the watch alarm.
The only conceivable reason is a bug in the upgrade which I hope will be rectified ASAP -
Did the restart improve anything?
-
@peegee I have no more problems since the reboot
-
@Clément-Lavabre I’ve performed a soft reset too and now sleep tracking works perfectly again
-
@peegee me too, sleep trackin is very inaccurate
-
@Clément-Lavabre soft or hard restart?
