Heart rate sensor shutdown after software update 2.39.20

Hello everyone,
After updating my Race S to 2.39.20 firmware this issue arise. The optical heart rate sensor literally shuts down randomly, once every other day or so. Lights not blinking, no data recorded. Only way to bring it back is to restart the watch. Did a soft reset but it solved nothing.
Clearly a software related issue. Quite annoying because, on top of having to check if sensor is on before every activity, it can happen during an activity or sleep without warning and possibility to bring it back.
Contacted Suunto support but no solution was found. My main concern here is to let the software team know so they can toggle this issue asap. Anyone had similar issues after the latest update? Anyone know if the team is aware of this?
