Sleep tracking still fails with latest firmware

In my case the two first nights after update everything is OK.
In the last night, same as you, I only had a little nap at the beginning of the night and nothing more.that happened to me with the former firmware, so don’t think it’s related with the last update, guess it’s something related with the nap/sleep detection
@christof13 said in Sleep tracking still fails with latest firmware:
Same, but my nap was at the end of the night.
I also got that once, but since I was still tired I slept 2 hours more, and when at the end I woke up I noted that the nap disappeared and I got a full 8 hours sleep… again the culprit is something in the algorithm that labels that part as nap instead of sleep
-
@racsox Yes!
Sleep tracking always worked very well for me in previous versions. I am noticing two things now.
Resource tracking is stopping throughout the day and sleep tracking is registering nothing or only naps.
I have tried a hard reset and yet to confirm if that has resolved the resource tracking issue, but can confirm that only a nap was recorded for sleep last night.
Watch is also the Race.
Update
After hard reset have had one night of sleep tracking and almost 24 hours of resources. Resources stopped tracking again, and restarted with a soft resets.
-
@racsox Same for me
-
Same here… previously it was bad, but bearable. Now I don’t sleep at all
. 2/3 update ago it was very good.
-
Same, 2.39.44 broke sleep tracking entirely. Detects falling asleep in 4hrs
Previous version worked fine, except it skipped some nights entirely.
-
@Jussi-Vaihia all of you --> downgrade the Firmware as previous
-
another funny behaviour: on the RS of my wife, at wake up it shows “no sleep tracked this night”, but soon after having synched the watch with the app, the sleep data magically appear … that happened on the last two nights
-
@GiPFELKiND how to downgrade?

Just to set a counter point, sleep tracking works well for me, on this version and already on the previous version. So it is not completely broken.
Race S. -
Apparently, we still don’t know what’s causing the disturbance in the force
-
@2b2bff This flip-flopping has been the case since Race S was introduced. Works on S, breaks on Race. Different hardware I suspect and the development team doesn’t have a good enough test harness for quality releases.
EDIT: Downgrading to 2.37.48 tracks a whole nights sleep again.
