Firmware update to version 2.40.38 - new bug?
-
After yesterday’s firmware update to version 2.40.38, I restored my favorite watch face, “Simplicity Analog.” Unfortunately, the second hand remains white regardless of the accent color I choose. I tested my favorite red, as well as yellow, purple, etc. The result is always the same – a white second hand. This looks like a system bug. Please check and fix it.

@Zbzac it is already said to be a bug and will be fixed in the main firmware update thread…

If Suunto starts introducing bugs wherre things previously worked well - they will become as Garmin…
Introducing bug in such a benign place like watch second hand is making me super nervous of losing stability in trivial UX things…
Be it a bug where it should not exist or part of the planned obsolescence - in either way I am disappointed…
I just switched from Garmin and would not like to regret that decision… At least with Garmin I could roll back to any firmware I want.

@leonidas I feel you as I’m currently have both Garmin and Suunto…
But so is the way with software: it never is bug free. There are ways to avoid bugs or the reappearance of them, like test driven development. But unless you have a simple app, you cannot test all combinations of installations and settings or use cases someone might have.
And TBF the accent color of a hand is not a major bug…
