Had a weekend of long runs and found that my vertical was logging almost 1.5 miles longer than my friend who ran with me for an 30 mile run and had a coros (we stayed together). We ran 15 the next day and my watch said 15.5. The longer I run, the more distance it adds above what it should be adding. Any ideas

@shadwell55 Download both your and your friend’s activities as FIT or GPX files and compare them using an external service (e.g., https://gtt.feub.net/compare-tracks/ for GPX) to see the differences between the tracks. Just because your friend’s watch measures less doesn’t necessarily mean yours is incorrect—it could be his, or the true value might even be somewhere in between.

      SV: fingers crossed :D
S9 (non-baro): died after 2 months, replaced, holding strong since 03/20
Spartan Trainer: casing broke after 23 months, repaired, lost watertightness 5 months later, died
Despite some pretty bad luck, I still love Suunto!

@inkognito I’ll try that. And let you know. Thanks!
