POIs missing from watch map

I just returned from a weeklong trip in the backcountry, and found the POI management very lacking for a watch that is supposedly all about navigation. Basically, I marked a bunch of crucial sites as POIs in advance of the trip (like water sources and passes), but only some of them showed up on the watch, and often a seemingly random selection of my 30+ POIs on any given day. I found some old threads about this, and it seems like a weird bug, but this is really something that needs to be resolved as basic functionality for a watch like this—being able to locate a water source seems pretty important!
