Charging Problem

I have a Race S. Most of the time charging is no problem. Other times the watch says it is charging but the charge% does not increase. Does it matter which way I attach the charging plate?

I noticed this behavior some times with my SV, but not with the actual firmware. A soft reset could solve the problem, and the watch charged
