    Current situation

It’s quite some work to find alarms (control panel), DND (control panel), timer, stop watch (widgets).

Competitor Garmin has a nice circle menu with handy features like DND, alarms, stopwatch, timer.

This is a very handy feature combined with the crown.

Suunto has the above spread among the widgets and control panel.

    Desired situation

A fair copy of the circle menu (sounds ugly) where items of control panel and widgets are moved into the circle menu.

The circle menu could be accessed by long press of the crown, while the control panel remains configurable as widget or swiping the screen.

The long press needs to be disconnected from the pinned widget in this case.

@brechtvb you can just short press the lower button from the watch face to be in the menu to turn on DND or set alarm clocks. For the timer/stop watch widget, I use it as the pinned one, as I often need it.

Personally, I don’t think that such a circle menu fits the design language, furthermore not all watches have crowns in the current line up…

@2b2bff I still deem it a good improvement.

Before i had a garmin forerunner 55 without touch and without crown, and the circle menu was there too, and i used it.

it provides overview, adds to finding what you were looking for. The default menu has big items, very ok, but for these small things, you typically want to find them very quickly.

@brechtvb I’d rather have rearrangement in the control centre and maybe select what items are present than the Garmin like shortcuts.

In the Suunto app, one can select the Watch icon from the home page, then scroll down and select Widgets. This is on the Race S.

This will bring up a menu so you can turn off any Widgets you do not use, and you can reorder the list of Widgets. For example, I don’t use Notifications and don’t need the Media Controls widgets, so those are off for me. I care about Sunrise/Sunset so have that top of list so I can quickly check it when needed.

Furthermore, one can assign a widget to launch when the Digital Crown is pressed by Settings -> Customize -> Pin widget, and assign shortcuts by long pressing the top and right buttons.

@brechtvb yeah, but the Forerunner has 5 buttons 😉

As I said, short press the lower button and you are where you can set DND and alarm clocks. I guess this will ease you struggle to find things…
