ambit users rest on their one wish and while they wait they become unambitious, that’s good for suunto

only when a wish is fulfilled… the next comes… and the next…There is a clear difference in having a wish fulfilled or having existing functionalities removed from a product. We are talking about the second one here. The watch offers the functionalities, the current software solution also does, the new one doesn’t.
I don’t want new features, I just want the existing ones.

Just like healthy men has thousand wishes and sick ones only one…so the Spartan and S5,9 users have thousand wishes and Ambit ones only one
…myself being an exception…for my S9B I wish only POI/Waypoints and structured intervals -

patience is not my strength, christmas 2018 -
I just bought an Ambit3 Peak, and am also like many others frustrated about how it is completely useless with the new Suunto app because it cannot sync/import routes to the watch. Such a basic and important feature. And if the old services/apps are eliminated by Suunto then it will truly be a useless paperweight.

in europe you can’t sell a product and make it obsolete 6months laterlook for the recent thread “ambit2 spell it out for me”

@TELE-HO Thank you, yes I found that thread just now reading through the forum, still, its still a worry if they support it for the minimum time and then abandon it. Many old GPS orientated devices like ancient Tom-toms for example still work 100% fine now eventhough they’re way older, as with many other devices in the world.
Hopefully all isn’t lost
