    Hi guys, I wondered if it would work, so I tested that yesterday and the answer is yes. It could be a backup solution in some situations.

      Joke appart, never tested such thing, not sure it works with iphone

          If the charger would be USB-C that would be a real option 🙂

            @aiv4r There is chance that if phone has OTG, then using proper usb-x-usb-x adapter you can charge some of low-power devices 🙂
            Very interesting, I will try it for myself too.

              don’t know, I guess that all recent smartphones (at least Android ones) should be able to act as power supply to usb attached devices. The simplest way is to try!

              it’s enough to buy a USB-A to USB-C adapter (quite cheap, just about 2 euros) , it can be useful in many occasions

                @Stefano-M64 correct.
                As most phones can also connect USB memory sticks, they are able to power them.

                And: Afaik there is a European regulation about chargers, that require them to be USB-C
                This is why Suunto Run has a USB-C charger. And upcoming new models as well.
