Suunto Ocean low brightness is too bright for night dives
-
Hey
Yesterday I did my first night dive with the ocean, of course I have set the brightness to low in advance. However, the watch was too bright and almost blinding. Is it possible to add “Extra low” brightness preset, or even manual brightness control in addition to the presets, like on smartphones (scale from 0-100 or something like that)Thanks

@Samyon-Shahnovitch Interesting detail. I had a Suunto Zoop that needed to be charged by a lamp to glow in the dark and now a Mares with backlight (if you touch a button).
Both good solutions, but not easy to do with amoled I guess. Curious if someone finds a good solution -
@Samyon-Shahnovitch I still remember the good old days when the early firmware of Suunto 9 (and Spartans before that) had adjustable brightness in 5% increments. Then Suunto decided to change it to low/medium/high, making my S9 and now Vertical annoyingly bright during night use. And I can fully imagine that it might be even worse with an AMOLED screen. I wish they would revert this for all their watches.
